  • Our Mission Tree

    Heart for Chiapas, Mexico

The mission tree (in the sanctuary foyer) this year is for our missionaries in Mexico - Juan and Denise Aragon.

Due to severe drought this summer in the Tsotsil area the corn crops of hundreds of families were affected. Funds from the One Great Hour of Sharing offering were used to buy 50kg. bags of corn for 200 families from 12 communities and seed for planting in 2019. But the need remains for others.

Denise is developing a literacy program for the women of various villages. A large majority of them cannot read; money is needed to set this up.

Take an envelope off the tree or mark your gift "Aragon".

*We alternate years for international and home mission for the mission tree.
